Float
or Auto/Float Boost charger working on 230V AC mains charges the battery. A DC/DC
converter is connected across battery, it gives the required DC
output. As long
as mains is present, the charger charges the battery and feeds input power to DC/DC
converter. When the mains fail, instantaneously battery feeds power to DC/DC converter.
There is no interruption in DC o/p voltages.
